These terms are between you and Adde, operated by BeBurst Labs (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Adde you agree to them. Adde is an early-stage product; these terms are written plainly and are not legal advice. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use Adde. By signing up you confirm that you are.

Your account

You are responsible for the details you give us, for keeping your password safe, and for what happens under your account. Please keep your email, your recipients’ and trusted people’s contact details correct and up to date. Tell us if you think someone else has accessed your account.

Acceptable use

Please do not use Adde to:

• store or send anything unlawful, or content that infringes someone else’s rights;
• write messages that threaten, abuse, harass or scare anyone;
• impersonate another person or give false details;
• try to break, overload or get unauthorised access to the service.

We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules.

Your content

Your messages and files stay yours. You give Adde a limited licence to store, process and deliver them, only so we can provide the service as described here and in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your content for advertising or sell it.

Check-ins and delivery

Adde asks you from time to time whether you are still here. If you stop responding, we try to reach your trusted people. A trusted person must confirm with the Adde team before any message is delivered. Each message is delivered once.

We work on a best-effort basis. Delivery depends on the contact details you gave being correct and working, and on phone, email and messaging networks that we do not control. We are not responsible for failed or delayed check-ins or deliveries, or for a confirmation that a trusted person makes and we accept in good faith, even if it later turns out to be wrong.

Not a will

Adde is not a will, trust or any other legal instrument. Messages do not transfer property or create legal rights. If you want to arrange your estate, please speak to a lawyer.

The service

Adde is currently free. It is early-stage, and we may change, limit or stop features, or the whole service. If we plan to shut it down, we will try to give notice so you can download your data.

Ending your account

You can delete your account and all your messages at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. After deletion your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and liability

Adde is provided “as is” and “as available”, without promises that it will always be available, error-free or secure. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or for delivery failures as described above. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, which is currently nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above, and for significant changes we will try to tell you in the app or by email. If you keep using Adde after a change, you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts in India have jurisdiction over any dispute.
